I still feel like that sometimes, even tho my work gym is totally relaxed. That's why I asked the trainer after one class, if I was pushing myself too hard and didn't fit in with the group. She assured me I was doing extremely well and explained why. That motivated me no end. Is there any trainer at your gym you feel comfortable talking to? It will help you focus on what's important and that's staying fit and healthy. Don't forget that slim people aren't necessarily healthy, fit or beautiful!!

Just dont be too hard on yourself about the diet please. we tend to do that which is why we fall off the wagon. take it slow but be focused.
cheers

In response to:The Plan

Thanks for the support. Its so kind. I've been a yo yo dieter for a number of years and desperate to break the cycle for good. In general, I'm better than most. I'm vegetarian and I don't eat processed foods, don't add sugar or salt to meals or cooking and don't have chocolate, biscuits or cakes in the house. The Xmas season has been just far too tempting, plus I drink a lot of alcohol and have forgotten to go to the gym since October. Time to change.

Good luck with the coffee shop job!
im looking forward to hearing how u are getting on. im sort of on a post x-mas diet myself although i already had a huge pizza and fries the other day. cutting down on the sugar, walking a lot and taking stairs where i can. it's enough for the moment i think.
